Dentists and Fog: A Monday Tale
This morning was a mix of Zurich nature and dental drama.

The South African Sushi Incident
Later, I went to the dentist to fix a tooth that broke while I was in South Africa eating sushi. It wasn’t just a small chip; the entire crown (€2,000) and the underlying amalgam core buildup came off. What’s left of the original tooth is minimal, basically just the root from a root canal.

The dentist rebuilt the core (€300) and we’ve scheduled the new crown for Monday, May 4th, 2026.
I asked Lobby to create some… motivational pictures for my son to encourage him to brush his teeth.
